To Be Private or Not To Be Private....That is the Question

A few shots from Mother's day.  Notice the things hanging in my hair & the oh-so-thrilled teenage boys in the background:)  Stan does love himself some good pearls as well!  These were taken on our back deck.
Hi, again!    I was going to make this blog private, so that only those I give permission to can read it (like all of you!).  Going private means that you'll have to sign in each time you want to get on the blog.  If you have an opinion about this, let me know!  Thanks!    Update: Stan & I have chatted about this & for now, we'll leave the blog public so any of your children can read it without me having to go in & add them, then send them an invitation to read it.  If anyone would like it changed to private, just let me know.
Also, when you post a picture you will have 5 size options.  The ones I've posted are "original size" & that's the biggest you can go.  You will choose what size you want, but I think the bigger the better (especially with my aging eyes!)

Hello, Fellow Parrish Cousins!

Hi, Everyone-

Welcome to the Parrish Cousins blog!  Your one-stop headquarters for reuniting before we see each other at the reunion on July 3rd at the Parrish homestead!

Here's what I sent to Stan's mom:

I have an idea for feeling connected to our cousins before the reunion begins, so that we can
already be aware of certain things with everyone, like ages of kids, current pictures, where living,
where working, what kids are doing, etc.

My idea is to set up a blog where everyone can post their current pictures, happenings, etc.   I
know when I leave a reunion (especially when it's not all day), I often feel like I didn't have a
chance to connect with everyone.   To find out what's going on in their lives.

My blog is private, but can have up to 100 authors.   I or someone else can set up another blog
just for the cousin reunion.   Anyone can add pictures and/or updates about their current lives.
Then at the reunion we'll already feel updated & connected to each other.

I would need to get everyone's email addresses to let them know about this.   It would be optional
to participate.   Whoever wants to participate would need to have a Google account.   Those are
free & take less than 5 mins. to set up. I just would need help getting the Edwards and Furners
cousins' email addresses.

So......if you're interested, you'll need a Google account.  If you don't have one, it's free & takes less than 5 mins. to set up.  When I have your email address, I'll add you as an author on this blog, then you can post pictures, updates on your family, all the happenings that would help all of us to know what's going on in your lives & feel connected to us BEORE the reunion starts.  I'll be posting some pictures soon.

Welcome to the Parrish Cousins blog!
